August J. Beucke (not pictured)

August J. Beucke, an editor, is known to most as Gus. In 9th grade, he and friends hijacked a video camera and shot “The Massachusetts Weedwacker Massacre,” a loving homage to a classic. Unappreciated by local parental critics in Massachusetts, it nonetheless sparked a need to keep making videos.

Gus graduated from Emerson College, drove out to San Francisco, and has since worked editing all varieties of TV, corporate video, and development content in the SF Bay Area. He’s cut hundreds of hours of compelling video. Many of the shows he edited were big ratings hits on their channels with multiple seasons.

Whether he’s making cuts, on the fly story producing, putting you there with sound design, or finding just the right music to support the message, he loves it all. Twenty years of tight deadlines have shown him the importance of working seamlessly with his teams to keep clients happy. And while he loves other humans contributing in the edit suite, he’s just as happy left alone with the edit suite door shut, lights down low, and getting down to business. If you need an editor who gets along well with others, hits his deadlines, and really loves his job, give Gus a shout.
